Restoration of the Steppe Plateau through the 4 return models. AlVelAl

In 2017 AlVelAl designed an ecosystem restoration plan for the territory based on the 4 Returns model, in 3 Zones for 20 Years. A plan that includes various actions, both in private farms and public forests, with the intention of creating an East - West axis that vertebrates the AlVelAl territory and serves to connect the natural areas located to the south and north of it and at the same time connect with the natural ecological corridors that already exist such as the Guardal, Castríl, Guadiana menor, Fardes Rivers and some of the existing Ramblas in the South of this axis. Taking advantage, for this purpose, of the natural areas of farms of farmer partners that implement Regenerative Agriculture techniques and the cooperation with the different competent administrations in environmental matters. In the case of the visits made, all the plots belong to the Junta de Andalucía. The projects visited are El Cortijico, Los Chaveses and El Estrecho, all of them located in the public mountain El Cortijico and Los Chaveses.
