Cost savings: Boosting the reduction of CO2 emissions increases energy efficiency and produces long-term economic savings.In addition, companies can reduce fuel-related expenses.
Reputation enhancement: Companies that take steps to minimize their carbon footprint are often viewed positively by employees, consumers and investors. This improves the company's image and reputation.

Be prepared: According to Law 7/2021 on Climate Change and Energy Transition, reducing the carbon footprint of companies is going to move from being a voluntary to a mandatory measure. Better to start now than when it becomes mandatory.
Tierra Pura packages include consulting for the footprint calculation and reduction plan, as well as its registration with MITECO. The carbon credits can then be used to offset all or part of the footprint. This package can also be used to offset over the next 3 years.

Tierra Pura is an independent, non-profit organization whose mission is to support and accelerate the functions of natural ecosystems as a tool for mitigating and adapting to climate change, improving biodiversity and reducing desertification and land degradation.
The projects developed or promoted by Tierra Pura follow a series of rigorous quality criteria that go beyond the minimum required. We ensure elements of great importance, such as additionality, permanence, replicability and risk management.
Additionally, our projects have a multiple positive impact, not only climatic, but also on biodiversity, soil and water. Finally, they bring socioeconomic benefits in rural areas with the aim of contributing to a paradigm shift that reduces depopulation in rural areas and promotes the sustainable use of natural resources.

Since 2021, the Tierra Pura Land Environmental Foundation, is developing a forest restoration project in Grandas de Salime (Asturias), which has facilitated the planting of about 165,000 trees of native species in about 135 hectares of forest razed by two fires in 2017.
The intervention, will capture 55,000 tons of CO2 over a period of 50 years, recover the native forest, protect the soil, contribute to improving biodiversity and recover curtains and other elements of high heritage value in an area through which the Primitive Way of St. James passes.
In addition, this project has made it possible to hire 25 local workers, 70% of whom belong to vulnerable groups, helping to fix the population in the region and has directly and indirectly benefited cooperatives, companies and rural entrepreneurs.
